Now that you have the smitrem tool prepared, you will need to reboot your computer into Safe Mode. You will need to restart your PC to do this, so be sure to . Once your computer has been restarted in Safe Mode, you need to get rid of the AlfaCleaner spyware application so it stops popping up alerts. To do this you must end the AlfaCleaner tasks. By design, the tasks are difficult to identify. First, press the "ctrl" + "alt" + "del" keys at the same time. The Task Manager window should now appear. Click on the "Processes" tab. Under Process Name, look for any of the tasks listed below in the list in your computer.

If you find any matches, highlight the task by left clicking on it, and then click on the "End Process" button. End any and all matches you find, because there could be more than one. As you end the processes, be sure to click "Yes" to any warning boxes that pop up. The AlfaCleaner alerts in the taskbar should now stop popping up

Now that you have ended the AlfaCleaner alerts, you need to uninstall the AlfaCleaner program using Add/Remove Programs. Open your Control Panels and then Open Add/Remove Programs. Locate the AlfaCleaner entry (they are in alphabetical order), left click on it to highlight it, and then click on the remove button to uninstall the AlfaCleaner program.

Although this removal seems surprisingly simple, appearances can be deceiving. Close the Add/Remove window and close the Control Panels Window.
